The successful candidate will be a bold, strategic, and people-centered leader, responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience through strong, on-the-ground operations, coordinated marketing, and deep, multi-agency partnerships. This role is at the intersection of public service and place-based experience, shaping how millions of people interact with the park each year. The Executive Director will be tasked with making visitor-centered operational and transportation decisions, managing a high-traffic public system, and innovating revenue streams while ensuring safety, equity, and outstanding visitor services. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a proven track record in leading complex, multi-stakeholder organizations, with a strong background in operations that directly impact the public. The role requires the ability to manage boards and public-sector relationships effectively, as well as the skills to translate strategic vision into practical operating models. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with financial acumen, capable of diversifying revenue and fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for leading and inspiring a small team, and familiarity with public-facing amenities, cultural institutions, or civic infrastructure is preferred.
