JOB Big Bend Community College (BBCC), a rural college serving vibrant, culturally rich communities in the Columbia Basin of Central Washington invites applications for an Executive Director of the BBCC Foundation in the college's Foundation Department. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of an ongoing advancement program on behalf of the Big Bend Community College Foundation in fulfillment of its mission to actively and visibly support the mission of Big Bend Community College (BBCC). The Executive Director serves as the primary liaison to the Big Bend Community College Foundation Board, shaping board engagement and governance strategy, attending regular meetings, providing updates on fundraising performance and financial healthThis role is central to cultivating and sustaining relationships with individual donors, alumni, community leaders, and regional partners who are committed to supporting the transformative impact of community college education. This position works collaboratively with other campus departments in providing service to a diverse clientele including donors, students, families, faculty, staff, businesses, and community groups. Work as an effective partner with the Foundation Board in providing vision, strategy, and leadership. Guide and support the Foundation Board’s strategic planning, fundraising, and governance activities; prepare Board meeting materials including agendas, policies, and financial reports.Collaborate with the Foundation Board and college administration to develop a comprehensive advancement plan and approach that is consistent with the priorities of the organization as outlined in the BBCC Strategic Plan.Ensure Board members are informed, engaged, and supported in their roles, and actively participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new Board members.Monitor trends and issues affecting community college advancement to identify opportunities and threats to the Foundation’s mission and strategic initiatives. Recommend and facilitate implementation of appropriate action to maximize opportunities and mitigate threats.Uphold legal, ethical, and financial integrity through compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Foundation bylaws. Advancement and Donor Relations: Serve as the Foundation’s lead fundraiser and principal gift officer by developing, implementing, and executing a comprehensive fundraising and advancement strategy aligned with Big Bend Community College’s mission, strategic priorities, and long-term goals, including annual, major, planned, and future capital giving. Oversee and implement the Foundation’s advancement plan encompassing major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, alumni relations, special events, and other fundraising initiatives, ensuring measurable progress toward established fundraising objectives. Manage a portfolio of major and planned giving prospects, directing all phases of the donor life cycle including identification,
