Reporting Structure: Reports directly to Sam Talbot, Culinary Creative Director, Chef Society, with collaborative involvement and oversight from Matthew Bousquet, VP of Culinary. Will work collaboratively with Palm Beach Kitchen Manager. Primary Location: Palm Beach (with travel as required) Compensation & Bonus Structure Base Salary: VERY COMPETITIVE Offsite Event Execution Bonus: to be discussed after interview and BOE Performance Bonus: Quarterly performance-based bonus eligibility Annual Performance Raises: Opportunity for 10–12% performance-based increases Retention Bonus: Awarded after 6 months of consistent performance Benefits Health insurance eligibility after 90 days of employment 401(k) with 3% company match after eligibility period 10 days paid vacation after one year of employment All required travel expenses (flights, hotel, car service) covered when working outside of home base Ongoing growth within a rapidly expanding Michelin-level culinary organization Role Overview The Executive Sous Chef will serve as a key culinary leader within Chef Society, responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, maintaining culinary excellence, and ensuring the highest standards across all member and event experiences. This role works in close partnership with Sam Talbot and Matthew Bousquet to execute the Chef Society vision: clean, precise, seasonal, and consistently exceptional food delivered across private chef services, membership programming, and events. You will work alongside Meaghan, the Palm Beach Kitchen Manager, to support growth and consistent culinary excellence with produced products. Core Responsibilities Culinary Leadership & Production Support daily culinary production and execution across meal prep, member services, and events Lead kitchen operations in Palm Beach alongside senior culinary leadership Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets Chef Society Michelin-level standards Maintain organization, cleanliness, and professional kitchen culture at all times Standardization & Recipe Integrity (Primary Focus) Maintain strict adherence to Chef Society standardized recipes and plating protocols Ensure consistency across all member meals, events, and deliveries Track and execute detailed member preferences and dietary notes Work with Culinary Creative Director and VP of Culinary to refine and implement recipes Train team members on proper execution and presentation standards Inventory & Operational Oversight Assist with ordering, inventory tracking, and product management Maintain accurate prep forecasting for production and events Monitor food cost awareness and proper product utilization Support systems that ensure efficiency and minimal waste Offsite & Member Execution (Growth Track) Participate in and eventually lead offsite private chef executions Represent Chef Society in member homes and event environments Ensure consistent brand presentation and service standards offsite Expected to grow into regular offsite leadership as part of role development Must be willing to travel Team Leadership Lead by example in professionalism, organization, and execution Support collaborative training and mentorship of kitchen staff Uphold a positive, solutions-oriented kitchen environment Maintain clear communication with culinary leadership and operations team Growth Path This role is designed as a leadership-track position within Chef Society.
