Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as an Expeditor, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and ensure our guests receive exceptional service. Responsible for organizing and coordinating all food leaving the kitchen while also supporting the floor by running food when needed. Ensures every plate is accurate, complete, and meets our standards before it leaves the pass. Communicates clearly between BOH and FOH, manages ticket flow during service, checks timing, garnishes, and presentation, and keeps the expo line clean and organized. Must be fast, focused, and able to lead under pressure while moving with urgency to deliver food to the correct tables. Duties Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of orders, maintaining optimal flow during busy service periods Verify accuracy of orders before they leave the kitchen, ensuring proper presentation and quality standards are met Communicate effectively with cooks, bartenders, and front-of-house team to prioritize tasks and resolve any issues promptly Assist in organizing food stations, ensuring ingredients and dishes are ready for service at all times Monitor food quality and presentation, making sure each plate meets established standards before serving Support food safety protocols by handling dishes carefully and maintaining cleanliness in the expediting area Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs quickly and professionally when necessary Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially in fast-paced settings such as banquet halls or hotels Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food handling safety standards Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and ensure smooth service flow Ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail Experience with serving, bussing, or culinary roles is a plus, demonstrating a well-rounded hospitality background Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Join us as an Expeditor and become a key player in creating seamless dining moments that delight our guests!
