Experienced Barista (Shift Lead Opportunity)

Job Summary We’re looking for an Experienced Barista (Shift Lead Opportunity) to join our team at a fast-growing specialty café. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently lead shifts, maintain speed and quality during busy hours, and create a great customer experience. You’ll play a key role in keeping operations smooth, supporting the team, and upholding our standards for drinks, service, and cleanliness. Responsibilities Lead shifts and ensure smooth day-to-day café operations Deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality customer service Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and other menu items with consistency Support and guide team members during busy periods Train new staff on workflow, drink quality, and service standards Handle POS transactions and basic cash handling accurately Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment Qualifications Previous barista experience required Ability to lead shifts and stay calm under pressure Strong communication and team leadership skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Flexible availability, including mornings and weekends Pay & Perks $12–$14/hr + tips (typically $4–$8/hr) Average total: $16–$22/hr Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid training Growth opportunities into leadership roles If you enjoy working in a fast-paced café, take pride in quality, and want to grow into a leadership role, we’d love to hear from you.
