Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crawlspace Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and/or treating crawlspaces affected by water, mold, rodents, or wood-destroying organisms. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of crawlspaces to identify issues such as fungus and/or mold growth, rodent activity, and other wood-destroying organism activity. Perform cleaning tasks, including debris removal, mold remediation, and cleaning within crawlspace areas using appropriate tools and techniques. Removing and/or replacing insulation as well as vapor barriers Installing sump pumps, drainage systems, and foundation vents. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to remove damaged materials and prepare spaces for restoration. Execute fungus and mold treatments, and moisture control procedures to prevent further deterioration. Installing and performing maintenance on dehumidifiers Experience in installing encapsulated crawlspace systems is a plus. Skills Proven experience in crawlspace work. Minimum of 3 years. Excellent attention to detail when inspecting crawlspaces Good physical stamina for working in confined spaces and performing manual labor throughout the day. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and explain procedures clearly. Must have current and valid driver's license. Pay: $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
