Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Dog Groomer to join our vibrant pet care team! This role offers a flexible table rental or revenue split arrangement, empowering talented groomers to showcase their skills in a supportive environment. As a key member of our grooming salon, you will deliver top-quality grooming services that leave pets looking and feeling their best. Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing for dogs of all breeds and sizes Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to health and safety standards Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand specific grooming preferences and provide expert advice on pet care and maintenance Handle animals safely and gently, utilizing animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Manage appointment scheduling and client interactions with professionalism and enthusiasm Keep detailed records of each pet’s grooming history, special needs, or allergies Promote additional pet care services such as pet sitting or training when appropriate to enhance client relationships Skills Proven experience in dog grooming with a strong portfolio of completed work Knowledge of dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care best practices Background in veterinary technician or veterinary assistant roles is highly desirable for understanding animal health considerations Skilled in pet grooming techniques tailored to various breeds and coat types Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs onto tables) Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Familiarity with animal handling, kennel experience, or pet sitting enhances your ability to work confidently with diverse animals Strong communication skills to educate clients about grooming routines and pet health tips Join us to turn your passion for animals into a rewarding career where you can make a difference every day!
