We are seeking a family law associate attorney who can assist clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues of family law, including divorce, child custody, CHINS/DCS, and protective orders. Compensation: $100,000 yearly plus bonus DOE Responsibilities: The ability to effectively manage a fast-moving and high-volume caseload The ability to effectively advocate and negotiate in highly stressful and emotional situations Conduct legal research and create legal documents, including correspondences, motions, pleadings, legal contracts, affidavits, and settlement proposals with the assistance of your paralegal Represent clients in court hearings and other proceedings as needed Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determining the best course of action Work closely with paralegals and other attorneys to ensure swift action through the litigation process Keep client files properly organized and up-to-date with the assistance of your paralegal Qualifications: Active license in good standing to practice law in Indiana Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Ability to work with our team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff to best serve client needs and grow client base 3+ years of experience in a variety of family law cases Ability to handle attorney administrative responsibilities such as billing and invoicing The drive to constantly strive to become a stronger litigator and team player!
