Handy Dan Heating & Air – Jacksonville, FL Full-Time Looking for a Strong Residential HVAC Technician Handy Dan Heating & Air is hiring an experienced residential HVAC technician who can confidently diagnose systems, communicate professionally with homeowners, and run service calls independently. What You’ll Do Residential HVAC Service & Repair Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems independently Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and control-related issues Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and system evaluations Ensure clean, professional, code-compliant workmanship Assist with system replacements and installations when needed Customer Experience Explain repair recommendations clearly and professionally Build trust through honest communication and quality workmanship Recommend IAQ products, surge protection, and maintenance plans when appropriate Identify replacement opportunities and communicate findings clearly Daily Operations Complete digital invoices, notes, and photos Maintain a clean, organized take-home vehicle Manage calls efficiently and professionally Represent the Handy Dan brand positively in every customer interaction What We’re Looking For 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability EPA Certification required Strong communication and customer service skills Clean driving record Comfortable using tablets, apps, and CRM software Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented NATE certification is a plus.
