Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality specifications Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining consistency and quality Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food preparation tasks Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery Experience Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols Experience working in fine dining establishments or catering environments is highly desirable Knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to plan menus and execute meal preparation efficiently under pressure Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods Prior kitchen experience in the food industry that emphasizes attention to detail, cleanliness, and teamwork Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Work Location: In person
