Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Execute painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment with precision and safety in mind Apply various coatings including industrial paints, stucco finishes, and specialty textures on diverse surfaces such as walls, ceilings, trim, and fixtures Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and specifications for residential and commercial projects Perform related carpentry tasks like trim carpentry, framing, fixture installation, and basic masonry work as needed during renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a strong portfolio of completed projects Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; understanding of color theory for accurate color matching and design consistency Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration techniques, and masonry work is highly desirable Familiarity with construction estimating processes and basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities Hands-on experience with renovation projects including remodeling, maintenance work, fixture installation, framing carpentry, and drywall finishing Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on safety standards; previous site experience preferred Strong handyman skills including welding or concrete finishing are a plus for versatile project support Join us if you’re ready to bring your expertise to exciting projects that challenge your skills!
