Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality pizzas and exceptional customer service. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens and pizza prep stations, efficiently and safely. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including regular cleaning of work surfaces and equipment. Assist in inventory management by tracking food supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods. Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. Experience Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in pizza preparation or cooking. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
