Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional Real Estate Bookkeeper to manage the financial records for our commercial/residential portfolio.The ideal candidate will have proven experience with AppFolio, Yardi property management software, strong attention to detail and will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, bank reconciliations, payroll and accounts payable/receivable ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and tax compliance.In addition, the candidate will be responsible for dealing with AR/AP payments.Key Responsibilities General Ledger & Transactions:Record day-to-day financial transactions, including income, expenses, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper categorization.Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly for multiple commercial and residential entities.Accounts Payable/Receivable:Manage vendor bills, process payments, and issue invoices to tenants or clients.Payroll & Compliance:Process payroll, manage payroll taxes, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements (P&L), and cash flow statements.Tax Prep & Audit Support:Organize records and assist in preparing data for CPAs and annual tax filing.Required Skills & Qualifications Proven minimum of 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience in real estate accounting (commercial and residential property management preferred).Strong proficiency in AppFolio software, Yardi property management or similar.Solid understanding of accounting principles.Exceptional accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.Excellent written and verbal skills for communicating and conflict-resolution skills.Experience in commercial lease management.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Professional development and career growth opportunities Job Type:Full-time Pay:$51,327.66 - $71,813.96 per year Application Question(s):Proficient in AppFolio property management software Work Location:In person.
