Willenborg Roofing is looking for an experienced residential roofer to join our full-time crew. We are a local, third-generation company that takes pride in quality workmanship, integrity, and teamwork. This role is ideal for a skilled roofer who can work efficiently, safely, and independently while contributing to a strong crew environment. Key Responsibilities Install asphalt shingle roofing systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices Perform proper flashing, underlayment, and detailed finish work Remove and replace damaged or worn roofing materials as needed Work safely at elevated heights while wearing required safety gear and harnesses Read and follow job instructions, layouts, and installation standards Lift and carry roofing materials, tools, and equipment (50+ lbs) Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Communicate clearly with crew members and follow direction when needed Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2+ years of hands-on residential roofing experience Strong experience with asphalt shingle installation Experience with metal roofing and Brava Shake experience a plus Must have own basic roofing tools (tool belt, hammer, knives, tape measure, etc.); compressor and coil nailer are a plus Comfortable working at elevated heights and in varying weather conditions Knowledge of proper roofing installation methods and safety practices Proficient with standard roofing hand and power tools Reliable transportation Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability Takes pride in quality workmanship and jobsite cleanliness Why Work With Willenborg Roofing? What roof pitches have you worked on? (Example 6/12, 8/12, 10/12, 12/12 +) Do you have experience setting/using roof jacks and planks? Do you have experience setting up and working from scaffolding systems (including ladder jacks and scaffold setups)? Do you have experience with flashing (pipe boots, wall flashing, step flashing, counter flashing)? Do you have hands-on experience with roof tear-offs and assessing/replacing damaged decking? Do you have hands on experience installing asphalt shingle roofing systems (starter, field shingles, ridge cap) ? If yes, briefly describe your experience and list the types of roofing systems you've personally installed?
