Job Description Job Title:EXPERIENCE ONLY Servers for Restaurant & Patio Job Pay:$7.25 TIPS (Average Pay average is $25 -$30 per hour) Overview:Heath Golf & Yacht Club, located in Heath, Texas on the scenic shores of Lake Ray Hubbard, is a new 787-acre master-planned resort community.Planned amenities for this private club include a 27-hole championship golf course, club house, pool, tennis courts and fitness center, with jogging and walking trails.Responsibilities:Exhibit professionalism when interacting with Members, Guests, Management and fellow Employees Create memorable moments of hospitality for HGYC members and guests Must display creativity and resourcefulness when planning and implementing special events Take food and drink orders from members and guests accurately and with a positive attitude Write members and guests food orders on order slips, memorize orders and enter orders in computer system for transmittal to kitchen staff Engage with member and guests in a friendly manner Have a good knowledge of the menu to be able answer questions and make suggestions Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take whatever action is necessary to correct any problems Clear the table promptly and with little interference Deliver the check and collect payment Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes Assist the food preparation staff, if necessary Uphold HGYC member service standards Ensure proper lock-up procedures are followed Interact with members and guests when necessary and be willing and able to resolve conflicts and answer questions Assess members /guests needs and preferences and make recommendations upon request Communicates delays and offers additional services to keep members/guest happy Ability to create a personal dining experience Stay member guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations Provide all member and guest feedback to the Manager of Beverage, Catering and Event Services, the Executive Chef or the General Manager Promptly report any equipment or maintenance issues to the General Manager and or Executive Chef and or Manager of Beverage, Catering and Event Services Strong communication skills to effectively deliver messages to both guests and members of the team and staff A very strong work ethic with a hunger to grow within the Heath Golf and Yacht Club Requirements & Essential Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency for time management and organization Basic understanding of wine, beer and spirits Experience in hospitality preferred Ability to remain calm under stress and to work in a fast paced, demanding environment Basic computer and technology skills Positive attitude and a passion for excellent member service Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Relevant Training Certificate preferred Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry and push when performing duties High school diploma Valid drivers' license and dependable transportation 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry (server preferred) Back of House experience is a plus Excellent organizational and time-management skills Great member service attitude Ability to think quick on your feet in a very fast-paced environment Team player Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Responsibilities Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Attend to customers upon entrance Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages Take and serve orders Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment Skills Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience Hands-on experience in cashier duties Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy High school diploma is a plus but not required Job Type:Part-time Pay:From $25.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location:In person.
