Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Pool Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and installing custom swimming pools that meet client specifications and industry standards. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into stunning, functional retreats. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of construction skills and tools to bring pool visions to life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Perform layout, forming and preparation for pool construction. Operate shotcrete/gunite equipment to shoot pools accurately and efficiently. Cut, shape,and finish shotcrete to design specifications. Install plumbing systems, electrical components, lighting fixtures, and other mechanical elements essential for pool functionality. Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks including concrete finishing, tile laying, plastering, masonry work, and caulking. Fabricate custom components such as coping, decking, or decorative features using appropriate materials and techniques. Conduct inspections throughout the project to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Coordinate with team members on site management, scheduling, and project progress to meet deadlines efficiently. Perform restoration work or modifications as needed during the project lifecycle to ensure optimal quality. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times. Candidates should have substantial experience in construction-related fields with a focus on outdoor or specialty projects such as pools or hardscape installations. Prior experience in construction management or estimating is highly valued. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction inspection processes is essential. Skills in plumbing, electrical work, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, glazing (glass installation), cabinetry (cabinet installation), framing carpentry, door hanging, painting, tile laying, welding, flooring installation, plastering, restoration work, heavy equipment operation (excavators or loaders), and use of hand tools are strongly preferred. Experience working on construction sites with various materials—including stucco and masonry—will contribute greatly to success in this role. Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in using Bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation. A solid understanding of construction management principles combined with practical skills in estimating costs will help ensure efficient project execution. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards at all times.
