Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Expeditor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for customer service, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Scheduled Friday-Sunday, with Thursday shifts available during high season. Duties Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Coordinating orders between kitchen and service staff Ensuring dishes are complete and beautifully presented before leaving the line Communicating clearly and efficiently with both front and back of house teams Maintaining a clean and organized expo station Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food handling and delivery. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary experience or knowledge of cooking techniques is beneficial but not required. A background in hospitality or hotel services can enhance your application.
