Eye Care Technician

Terrezza Optical in Milton, FL -Optometric technician performs a variety of tasks to assist the optometrist in routine and medical eye examinations.They record patient medical histories and help prepare the patient for the vision examination.They also assist with tests that help ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a diseased eye such as taking optomap photos, tonometry, visual field, and optical coherence tomography.Assisting first time contact lens wearer by teaching the patient how to insert and remove lenses.Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments.Need good computer skills for use with electronic medical records - RevolutionEHR.Must be detail oriented, accurate, and time efficient.Optometry office setting experience preferred.We are open Monday-Friday 8-5.Salary can be negotiated - depending on experience.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
