Job DescriptionJob Description Job Title: Fabrication- CNC Operator Republic Extrusions /Team Pride Extrusions : Megargel, TX U.S. Position: Does not qualify for work visa/sponsorship. The Company Republic Extrusions/Team Pride Extrusions is a leader in providing high-quality aluminum extrusion products and services tailored for various industrial needs. Position Summary: Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fabrication and CNC equipment to produce quality product in a timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Daily operations of Fabrication and CNC equipment Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment Identify and report safety concerns to the Fabrication/CNC Team Leader Identify and report maintenance needs to Fabrication/CNC Team Leader Assist with preventive maintenance on Fabrication and CNC equipment Work with Quality personnel to monitor quality of product and respond accordingly Interpretation of work orders and drawings Complete and submit daily production reports Maintain a good attendance record Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Self-driven with a strong ability to work alone or with others Good communication in a team environment as well as critical thinking skills Mechanical aptitude Must be goal oriented in order to achieve daily production targets. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma preferred 6 months of experience in CNC or other metal fabrication operations Language/Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and work with team members in a bilingual environment (with the use of an interpreter as needed). Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Computer Skills: Ability to operate computer and/or electronic based machine controls. Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
