Position Swenson Spreader, LLC is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of machine shop and fabrication operations to support production, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Determine order to be processed Identify components to be processed Perform necessary set up on desired work center using blueprint Start up/operate and control desired machine or a combination thereof (saw, drill, lathe, metal muncher, etc.) Inspect/evaluate quality of part produced for conformance using blueprint and measuring tools Accurately report labor and production Use and understanding of manufacturing orders Safety and Housekeeping Embrace lean philosophy Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor Qualifications Dexterity and agility to maintain pace Use of basic power tools (grinder, impact drill, etc.) Ability to read and interpret blueprints Able to read tape measure Able to stop/start machine Ability to identify steel size and type Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Practice machine guarding procedures Work Environment The role involves exposure to fumes, heat, mechanical parts, and other industrial conditions.
