Facilities Maintenance Supervisor- Direct Hire 📍 Taylor, MI 💰 $80,000–$85,000 base + annual bonus ($3K–$4K historically) 🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (or as needed) ✈️ Travel: 5–10% 📌 Classification: Salary Exempt | Non‑Union 🔧 About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead the safe, reliable, and professional operation of a multi‑building manufacturing campus. This role oversees building systems, utilities, janitorial operations, and vendor services across a 24/7 operation, while leading a team of Building Technicians and Janitors across three shifts. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who takes true pride of ownership in their facilities, anticipates issues before they occur, and holds high standards for safety, appearance, and reliability. 🛠️ What You’ll Do Oversee maintenance and operation of all building systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, lighting, fire protection, grounds, and infrastructure Lead and develop facilities technicians and janitorial staff across all shifts Manage vendors and service contracts (HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, waste, security, etc.) Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance using CMMS Monitor and optimize utility usage and control facility-related costs Ensure OSHA, EPA, fire code, and regulatory compliance Conduct facility inspections, safety audits, and monthly facilities walks Support capital projects, layout changes, and campus improvements Champion 5S, continuous improvement, and high visual standards across all buildings ✅ What We’re Looking For Required 5+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, fire suppression, and structural systems Experience supporting multiple buildings and 24/7 operations Vendor management and contract negotiation experience Proficiency with CMMS tools and Microsoft Office Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards Availability for on‑call support and occasional off‑shift or weekend work Preferred Technical certification or Associate degree (HVAC, Facilities, Industrial Maintenance, or similar) Automotive, Tier 1/Tier 2, or high‑volume manufacturing experience Budgeting and capital project involvement Lean / 5S / Continuous Improvement mindset ⭐ Why Join Us Competitive salary with annual bonus eligibility Leadership role with real ownership and impact Stable manufacturing environment with long‑term growth Opportunity to drive facility excellence, safety, and continuous improvement
