The Facility Maintenance and Grounds Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining Archbishop Moeller High School's main campus buildings, its grounds and athletic fields (both on site and at the Moeller Athletic Complex). This position will assist in the daily operations pertaining to the overall care and safety of the campus. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Building Maintenance Performs painting, carpentry, and limited masonry work. Prepares surfaces and applies paint, stains, and varnishes. Hangs and fits doors, repair locks and installs hardware. Hangs shelves and other wall-mounted items. Moves and repairs furniture. Assists in building, renovation, and remodeling projects as necessary. Performs minor plumbing maintenance. Repair leaks in drains and faucets. Unclogging drains. Replacement/repair of defective fixtures. Performs minor electrical maintenance. Replacement of wall switches, receptacles, light fixtures, ballasts, sockets, fuses, cords, door operators, and power cords. Performs minor repairs of equipment and food service appliances. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned. Grounds Maintenance Ensure all exterior surfaces are maintained in a safe and attractive condition. P
