Who We Are:Throwback Brewery is a small, inspired brewery, farm and restaurant dedicated to crafting delicious, farm-fresh beers and food from local ingredients.Originally founded by Annette Lee and Nicole Carrier in a small warehouse space in 2011, we are now located on the beautiful 12-acre Hobbs Farm within a picturesque 1860s post & beam barn in North Hampton, NH - just minutes from the beach! Position Overview:In this role, you will assist in the routine and preventative maintenance of the facility and grounds.The job requires the individual to be a team player with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment.Must be positive, even tempered and have strong skills in areas of dependability, flexibility, and maturity.This position is responsible for performing a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and operation of Throwback Brewery and its property.This includes but is not limited to the general maintenance, upkeep, and improvements of buildings and related structures, in addition to the property grounds.The position requires a person in a wide variety of weather conditions to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; to have a full range of movement for reaching, climbing, and crouching; dexterity to operate standard cleaning and maintenance equipment and hand tools (small power tools, lawn tools); ability to drive a motor vehicle; cognitive and sensory ability to effectively communicate with supervisor, coworkers, and the general public; and to effectively monitor and evaluate one's surroundings.Essential Functions:Assist with monitoring vendors and requirements relative to the facility Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Paint, remodel and refurbish areas as needed Assist with changing all filters for HVAC as required, and general cleaning/maintenance of facility equipment Maintain and oversee landscape including mowing, weeding, planting and watering Manage plumbing, electrical, and water needs and repairs of facility Maintenance of preventative maintenance programs Assist with farming operations, as needed Assist with snow removal, ice and snow management on property Event set up of chairs, tables, and other furnishings with the direction of events lead/FOH staff Other duties may be required, including assistance in the brewhouse on occasion This position reports to the owners of Throwback Brewery.The schedule is flexible, with potential occasional availability on nights and weekends.The pay rate for this role ranges from $19 to 22 per hour, depending on experience, paid on a weekly basis.Qualifications:Ability to work independently, but also to lead a team with thoughtfulness, equity, and kindness.Resourcefulness and independent problem solving skills.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors during all seasons, in all types of weather.The ability to successfully handle multiple priorities Ability to work under minimum supervision with a high degree of organizational and technical competence.Reliable personal transportation Ability to be on call to respond to emergency maintenance situations Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.Embody our Core Values at all times Must maintain composure at all times Strong communication and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills Self Motivated Must take direction and follow Full-Time Benefits (A full-time employee is one who works a regular schedule of 32 hours or more per week):Access to vision and dental insurance plans through NHRLA Monthly health stipend to offset a portion of healthcare costs 18 paid days off per year, as well as 2 additional paid mental health days Access to a 401K plan with up to a 4% employer match Additional Perks:Empl
