Performs nursing functions and consumer care at a Facility Based Crisis Center including assessment, care, and treatment of clients at the facility; must adhere to standards of care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and RHA.This position relies on knowledge, experience, and judgment with limited supervision and direction to provide quality services to crisis facility clients.Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include:This position requires an LPN.Two years' experience working with behavioral health clients is preferred.MSN preferred.Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:Regularly required to lift 10 lbs.Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 lbs.Must be able to pull a minimum of 10 lbs.Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop.Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Required to regularly stand and walk.Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting.Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.Must be able to talk and hear.Calling all compassionate and caring LPNs! RHA Behavioral Health Services is in need of dedicated and compassionate nurses to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team, to provide nursing care at our facility-based crisis center.In this dynamic role, you will provide assessments and care and treatments for clients in the facility while adhering to standards of care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and RHA.Additionally, you will work with a team providing a high level of patient care.If you're looking for an opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of the people that you serve then consider RHA Behavioral Health Services where we put people first! Job Responsibilities As a Licensed Practical Nurse you will be responsible for performing Nursing assessments and interventions with medications oversight and administration as needed.Additional responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse include:Reporting client's social, psychological and physical behavior as indicated Implementing and ensuring compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements Implementing policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with Confidentiality regulations, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), national accreditation agency and Continuous Quality Improvement, attending applicable meetings as necessary Using state guidelines, Quality Assurance Plan and Client Rights Policy, ensuring that clinical operations comply with state regulations and update plans and policies as necessary Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, disciplining and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems Requirements Successful candidates for the LPN role will have a working knowledge of the principle and techniques in counseling and the effective delivery of community-based healthcare services.Someone who understands the complex dynamics of the disease of chemical dependency, treatments, and resources available to support recovery would excel in this role.Additional requirements of the LPN include:Active and current LPN Licensure in state of employment 2 years' experience as a nurse working with behavioral health clients, preferred Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency and the principles and techniques based on best practices, commitment to the use of evidence based treatment and preventative methods Valid driver's license and automotive insurance required Benefits:The comprehensive compensation and benefits package for full-time employees includes:Competitive compensation program including regular performance feedback and coaching Healthcare insurance:Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Voluntary Benefits, Employee Assistance Program, Telemed and Pharmacy Insurance, Health Advocate service which assists employees find doctors, schedule appointments, estimate costs, answer medical/prescription questions, resolve medical claims issues and basically does the leg-work for employees Offering free diabetic medication and supplies 401(k) retirement savings progra
