Position Title: Faculty - Temporary Full Time - Physics Campus: East Peoria Campus Employment Type: Faculty, FT FacultyFull time Department: Math, Science, Engineering Start Date: 08/01/2026 Job Description: Summary: Illinois Central College is seeking applicants for a full-time, temporary position in Physics to begin Fall 2026. The Physics Faculty coordinate, plan, prepare, present, and evaluate classroom instruction in a variety of Physics courses. The faculty support innovation, demonstrate exceptional teaching skills, and display enthusiasm, respect, and ability to work effectively with diverse students, colleagues, and staff. The academic program promotes innovative teaching, quality scholarship, diverse learning, equitable access, and educational achievement for all students. This position will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in a variety of physics courses. Full-time faculty must be available to teach during the day, evenings, and/or weekends as determined by the schedule of classes offered to meet student needs. The academic year base salary and rank will be determined based on the educational preparation and occupational and/or teaching experience of the successful candidate.
