JOB The City of Seal Beach is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support the City Manager’s Office. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in local government.Under general supervision, the Intern will perform developmental-level professional and administrative work and participate in a variety of projects that support organization-wide initiatives. The position offers exposure to municipal operations, including interaction with City staff, elected officials, and the public. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Duties may include, but are not limited to: Perform administrative, research, and analytical support for the City Manager’s OfficeAssist with projects and programs impacting one or more City departmentsRespond to citizen inquiries and service requests; escalate complex issues as appropriateCoordinate and communicate with multiple City departments to support operational efficiencyAttend and assist with meetings, including City Council and subcommittee meetings, as assignedPrepare reports, correspondence, and presentation materialsPerform other related duties as assigned SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
