About Foundations Family Law and Mediation Center is a compassionate, client-focused practice dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate divorce, custody, support, and other family matters with clarity and respect.The team blends strong legal advocacy with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, offering both litigation and mediation services.Joining the firm means contributing to a supportive, mission-driven environment where your work truly impacts the lives of the families you serve.This is a HYBRID role with travel to court weekly and quarterly in-person team meetings.Office will be remote.This opportunity stands out for attorneys seeking purpose-driven work, a supportive and collaborative team, meaningful client impact, and real opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.If you value empathy, integrity, and high-quality advocacy, this role offers the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of families.Key Responsibilities Represent clients in matters involving custody, divorce, child support, alimony, and domestic violence Draft motions, pleadings, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and related filings Attend court hearings, case events, and negotiations Develop case strategies aligned with client goals Maintain timely, clear communication with clients Negotiate with opposing counsel and pro se parties Prepare motions for temporary orders, separation agreements, pre-trial memos, and GAL-related submissions Collaborate closely with the Founding Attorney, Case Manager, and legal team Manage division of marital assets, including real estate, when applicable Qualifications MA Bar License (required) RI Bar License (preferred) Mediation certification (preferred) 1-3 years of family law litigation experience (required) Strong drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills Ability to remain composed and effective in emotionally charged situations Commitment to client care, ethics, and professionalism Join us to make a meaningful difference in families' lives through dedicated legal service!
