Student Health Services / Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) for a part-time assignment serving a diverse college student population. This physician will report to the Director of Student Health Services and provide comprehensive, holistic primary care to students in a collaborative campus health setting. Position Details Openings: 1 Schedule Preferred: Monday Wednesday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM Client may be flexible on days if candidate cannot work all three days Hours per Week: 23 Start Date: June 1, 2026 (provider needed by first week of June) Contract Length: 26 weeks (extension possible) Setting: Mostly in-person visits with limited telehealth (provider must be onsite) Patient Population & Volume Age Range: Primarily years old Daily Volume: Average 8 14 patients per day Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary medical care, including: Urgent care, preventive care, and chronic disease management Annual and sports physicals Routine well woman examinations Manage reproductive and sexual health services, including: Abnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS Contraception management (including LARC insertion/removal) PrEP/PEP Gender-affirming care and LGBTQ+ health services Evaluate and treat common primary care mental health conditions: Depression, anxiety, sleep disorders ADHD, eating disorders, substance use disorders Deliver basic orthopedics and sports medicine care: Sports injuries and musculoskeletal complaints Minor procedures (laceration repair, cyst removal, basic surgical interventions) Conduct thorough assessments of physical, developmental, and psychosocial health Develop and implement individualized plans of care Participate in clinic operations, including: Triage, rooming patients, administering immunizations Care coordination and exam room turnover Document all care within 24 hours in the EMR and adhere to Student Health Services policies and national guidelines Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and communicate with students via patient portal and phone Participate in campus outreach and health events (TB testing, immunization clinics, student programs) Charting System Medicat EMR Training and orientation provided Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active, unrestricted medical license (state-specific requirements apply) Experience in primary care with strong comfort in: Women s health and office gynecology Mental health management Student health or young adult populations (preferred) Comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative clinical environment Interview Process Client Interview Required Format: Virtual interview via Microsoft Teams Position Type & Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor Weekly compensation Interested physicians who are available to start by early June and are seeking a meaningful role in a university health setting are encouraged to apply. by Jobble
