About Us A Brighter Day is a pro-life Christian nonprofit dedicated to serving pregnant and parenting families.Our mission is to walk alongside families in need, offering compassion, practical support, and hope.We provide essential resources such as baby supplies, case management, education, and community referrals while affirming the value of every life, both mother and child.We serve families from all backgrounds, with a special focus on those facing unplanned pregnancies, financial hardship, or other life challenges.As we continue to grow in Oklahoma, we are looking to expand our team and deepen our impact in the community.Our Work Environment:Modern office setting Fast-paced Professional Supportive Collaborative Position:Family Support Specialist As a Family Support Specialist, you will play a direct and meaningful role in supporting the lives of families and their children.You will assess client needs, strengths, and support systems, helping them navigate life challenges and work toward stability and success.You will provide case management, connect families to resources, and distribute essential items to support each family's unique situation.Faith-Based Statement A Brighter Day is a Christian organization.While we serve individuals and families from all backgrounds, we are rooted in Christian values and a pro-life mission.Employees are expected to respect and support the organization's mission, values, and statement of faith in their daily work and interactions with clients and the community.Requirements High School Diploma (required) Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (all team members assist with stocking and organizing inventory) Qualifications & Skills Computer literacy with accurate typing skills Ability to operate standard office equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to support and empower parents in decision-making and advocacy Knowledge of local community resources Self-motivated, driven, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks without constant supervision Key Responsibilities Conduct client intakes, assessments, and goal planning Provide ongoing case management and support to families Distribute essential baby items and resources Maintain accurate and timely documentation per organizational policies Complete required trainings and compliance documentation Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information Participate in community outreach events, including fairs and parades Build and maintain community partnerships Connect families to appropriate Oklahoma-based resources Deliver excellent customer service and foster strong relationships with clients Performance Expectations Take ownership of daily responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion Proactively identify needs within the office and take action without waiting for direction Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and accountability Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and leadership Be adaptable and solution-focused when challenges arise Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment Why Join A Brighter Day?
