Full Time Year Round 7:00 AM - 3:00 PMStarting Pay:$15-$16/hour depending on experience We are looking for a reliable, hardworking animal lover to join our team caring for over 130 rescued farm animals at our private sanctuary.Our residents include horses, donkeys, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, alpaca, chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits.Many of these animals came from neglect or difficult situations and now rely on us for daily care and a safe lifelong home.Daily responsibilities include:Turning animals out and bringing them in Cleaning and bedding stalls (6-8 per day) Feeding and watering animals Scrubbing water troughs Grooming and assisting with basic medical treatments Light farm maintenance and other daily tasks This role is a mix of teamwork and independent work, so we are looking for someone dependable who can notice what needs to be done and take initiative.Requirements Comfortable around large animals Able to lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working outdoors in all weather Our animals rely on us every single day, so strong attendance and reliability are extremely important for this role.One weekend day required (currently filling Sunday-Thursday shift) Large animal experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has animal care experience and wants to learn.This is physical work that involves early mornings, getting dirty, and working outside, but it also offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with animals who will spend the rest of their lives here.Please apply through Indeed and include a short note about your animal experience and why you're interested in sanctuary work.Pay:From $16.00 per hour Application Question(s):Please briefly describe your animal care experience and explain why working with rescued farm animals at a sanctuary interests you.Work Location:In person.
