OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand/Laborer to join our agricultural operation.This role involves hands-on work across various farm activities, supporting the daily operations of planting through harvest.The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, practical skills in farm machinery and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.Prior supervisory or mechanical experience is a plus, as well as familiarity with heavy equipment and maintenance tasks.Duties Assist with planting, harvesting, and crop maintenance Operate farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools for various tasks Perform equipment repair and maintenance, including welding and basic troubleshooting of machinery Manage duties with care and safety protocols in place Supervise or assist with other farm workers as needed to ensure efficient workflow Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, and storage facilities Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to supplies, feed, or harvested produce Skills Supervising experience in an agricultural or farm setting is advantageous Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, equipment repair, welding, and maintenance Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, tractors, and power tools safely Familiarity with farming practices including irrigation systems, greenhouse management, and horticulture techniques Experience with equine care is preferred but not required Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to planting or feeding schedules Heavy lifting capability for moving supplies or equipment safely Strong knowledge of farm machinery operation and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenanceThis position offers an engaging opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic farm environment while developing valuable skills in agriculture and animal husbandry.Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work that requires attention to safety protocols and teamwork.Pay:$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Retirement plan Work Location:In person.
