Schedule:Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM This position is for an animal caretaker/farm hand at a sanctuary for rescued animals.We view every animal as family here.Responsibilities: Assist with the day-to-day operations of the farm sanctuary- Care for and feed animals, including equine and other farmed animals- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment- Perform heavy lifting as required for various farm tasks (must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.)- Assist with equipment repair and maintenance- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm and its facilities Skills: Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery, such as tractors- Proficiency in animal handling and care, including feeding, grooming, and basic medical procedures- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor- Basic knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance THIS JOB REQUIRES A LOT OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY Note:This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.It is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or requirements associated with the job.Job Types:Internship, Full-time Pay:From $20.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
