Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dedicated Farm Operator/Worker to join our 4th generation family farm.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the farm, planting and harvesting crops, operating other farm machinery, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all farm activities.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where hands-on skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for farming come together to create a thriving agricultural operation.The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to sustainable farming practices.The job would be primarily be seasonal, from roughly early April to early June for the planting season, and again from late September through November for harvest.In addition there is opportunity for flexible, part time work over the summer months.Duties Operate and maintain farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and other heavy equipment with precision and safety.Perform equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures to keep machinery in optimal condition.Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while managing farm supplies or moving equipment.Maintain accurate records of animal care activities, crop progress, equipment repairs, and daily operational logs.Qualifications Proven experience in agricultural or farm settings is preferred.Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating farm machinery and equipment.Certification or experience operating planters/harvesters, heavy equipment, power tools, welding tools preferred.Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery confidently.Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting schedules.Excellent attention to detail for maintenance tasks and record-keeping.Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.Join our team if you're passionate about agriculture!
