Job SummaryWe are looking for 1 more seasonable member of our team at RedMark Farm, we are a small regenerative farm that follows organic practices.In your role you will be responsible for supporting crop production, weeding, watering, tending to the farm,, chicken and duck care, and helping our team ensure the farm operates smoothly and efficiently.Your hands-on involvement will help promote sustainable farming practices, and grow high-quality produce.This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop diverse skills, and contribute to the success of new, vibrant, regenerative farm.Work is expected to last April through October for the right candidate.Hours flex in the summer to accommodate heat starting at sunrise and avoiding unsafe heat.Weekend rotations will be expected as well as holiday hours.Responsibilities Assist with planting, watering,, and harvesting crops using hand tools, irrigation systems, and farm machinery.Care for poultry letting them in, out and keeping the coop clean.Making compost, we are a regenerative farm producing most of our inputs right here on the farm.The right candidate may operate farm equipment tractors, forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently to support daily farm activities.Experience with routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, is a plus but not required for this position.Support greenhouse and nursery operations.Assist with gardening, farming, landscaping, general farm maintenance using hand tools and power tools; perform heavy lifting as needed for crop or equipment handling.Requirements Previous experience on a farm or agricultural setting isessential.Flexible Schedule including weekend ratations and holiday work.Familiarity with irrigation systems, crop production and organic growing techniques is highly desirable.Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions, and the use of hand tools or power tools.Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining farm safety standards and operational efficiency.This paid position offers a chance to develop your skills across multiple facets of farming while growing and providing food for the community.Washington Driver's license and reliable transportation required.Pay:From $19.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
