The face of Okovate in farming communities.Your goal:engage with farmers, educate them about agrivoltaics, and help them take the first step by signing a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI).You'll attend community events, visit farms, and use canvasing to expand Okovate's farmer network.We'll provide you with a list of farmers, a calendar of priority events, and training in agrivoltaics so you can succeed.This is a people-first role -- best for someone who can listen well, explain clearly, and build trust with rural landowners.Key Responsibilities Contact and visit farmers and landowners to introduce agrivoltaics and Okovate partnerships.Explain agrivoltaics clearly -- how it works, what it means for land use, and the income and energy benefits for farmers.Gather information on farm operations, land characteristics, and interest level.Build trust and long-term relationships with farmers, addressing concerns and maintaining open communication.Attend regional events to represent Okovate.Maintain records of farmer interactions, leads, and site information using CRM tools.Stay informed about local agricultural trends and community priorities.Qualifications Strong background in agriculture, rural community engagement, land management, or related fields (field sales, canvassing, or BDR work) OR experience with farming/agriculture with a desire to pivot into sales/outreach.Comfortable with outbound calling, door-to-door outreach, and community networking.Strong communication skills -- able to explain ideas simply and clearly.Organized and detail-oriented, with strong scheduling and follow-up skills.Proficient with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online mapping software.Motivated by results and uncapped earning potential.Self-starter who can manage their own schedule and meet outreach goals.Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for farm visits and events.Passion for agriculture, clean energy, and rural economic resilience is a plus.Familiarity with Maryland agriculture and farming communities is a plus.Compensation Structure Weekly Base Pay:$500-$800 per week (based on experience), contingent on meeting outreach requirements.Performance Bonus:$500 per signed LOI between Okovate and a qualified landowner (no cap).Extra Bonuses:Up to $1,000 per lease when you help negotiate deals.Benefits Mileage Reimbursement:$0.72/mile, paid biweekly.Advancement:High performers can grow into leadership roles as Okovate expands across Maryland and beyond.Additional Benefits:Flexible schedule, training provided, mission-driven work with direct community impact.Job Type:Contract Pay:$500.00 - $800.00 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience:Door-to-door:1 year (Required) Ability to Commute:Denton, MD 21629 (Required) Work Location:In person.
