Job Description
Overview: Framework Fashion is seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator for a fractional consulting role supporting a premium apparel brand in Orange County. This is a critical, hands-on position designed to bridge the gap between design intent and final delivery. You will be responsible for total production transparency and workflow integrity, ensuring that every style moves through the pipeline, from raw materials to finished goods, without friction. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the apparel manufacturing lifecycle and excels at maintaining rigorous Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities & Job Functions: WIP Management: Lead the creation, maintenance, and ongoing management of the master WIP report across all active styles to ensure total visibility for the executive team. Inventory Oversight: Review and maintain appropriate fabric inventory levels to ensure blank body and production needs are consistently covered. Timeline Execution: Oversee end-to-end production timing to hit all key deliverables, including fabric arrivals, trim sourcing, sewing, finishing, and final delivery deadlines. Strategic Collaboration: Participate in a minimum of 2x weekly sit-down meetings with the Production Manager (Danny) to review the WIP, surface emerging problems, and drive immediate resolution. Executive Reporting: Create and deliver weekly status reports to leadership (Hil) covering key wins, challenges, and open items requiring urgent decisions. Vendor Liaison: Manage vendor and factory communication follow-ups to ensure all production commitments remain on track between the Production Manager's factory visits. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify bottlenecks, delays, or capacity issues before they impact deadlines, escalating critical time-sensitive issues outside of scheduled meetings when necessary. Operational Integrity: Ensure all production data remains synchronized and accurate so that status is always current and visible across the organization. Cross-Functional Alignment: Provide light cross-functional coordination as needed to align various departments on delivery expectations. Qualifications Experience: Proven track record in apparel production coordination, specifically managing WIPs and vendor timelines. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex tracking) and familiarity with common apparel industry management tools. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface effectively with both factory partners and executive leadership. Logistics: Must be able to work on-site in Orange County for the designated weekly hours.
