Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Fast Food Shift Lead, where you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, quick service environment. As a key leader during your shift, you'll oversee daily operations, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and motivate your team to perform at their best. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth flow from food preparation to customer service. Lead and motivate team members, providing clear direction, training, and support to foster a high-performance environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food cost management. Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and safety protocols. Assist in interviewing and onboarding new staff members, supporting their training & development to uphold service excellence. Skills Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or similar food industry roles with supervising experience. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices across casual dining or banquet settings. Skilled in operating POS systems such as Micros POS; experienced in cash handling and transaction management. Excellent team management abilities with leadership skills in hospitality management, kitchen management, and staff training & development. Ability to oversee inventory control, food production processes, and budget management effectively. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence in both casual dining and restaurant environments. Effective communication skills for supervising staff, and coordinating with other departments for seamless operations.
