Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of menu items with precision, speed, and attention to detail Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety standards Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality in all food products Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is highly preferred Stong skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and catering is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Prior experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is advantageous but not required This position offers an excellent platform for developing your skills and possible growth.
