Duties Safely operate a delivery vehicle along designated delivery routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload packages using proper lifting techniques, including heavy items requiring manual handling Deliver packages accurately to customers’ doorsteps or designated drop-off points while maintaining professionalism and a friendly attitude Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when required, and document all deliveries properly in company systems Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and minimizing delays Experience Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred; familiarity with route driving enhances efficiency Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients during deliveries Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, heavy lifting and moving items is advantageous Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day while maintaining proper ergonomics Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey with Tower 41 Corp. where your driving skills make a difference!
