Fence Installer

American Fence Company, Inc., a leader in the construction industry specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of fences and related products, is seeking a full-time Fence Installer to join our Construction department. In this role, you will work on residential and commercial projects installing and repairing a wide range of fencing systems, including wood, vinyl, chain link, ornamental iron, and security fences. You will assist with reading basic site layouts or instructions, measuring and marking fence lines, setting posts, mixing and pouring concrete, installing panels, gates, and hardware, and performing routine maintenance or repair work on existing fences. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, operating hand and power tools, digging post holes, ensuring proper alignment and structural integrity of fences, and maintaining a clean and safe job site. You will work closely with a collaborative crew and supervisors who emphasize safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. No prior fencing experience is required; we provide on-the-job training to develop your skills, including safe tool operation, material handling, and basic construction techniques. This is a physically active position that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting and carrying heavy materials, and performing tasks such as bending, kneeling, and digging for extended periods. Successful candidates are reliable, punctual, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working as part of a field crew on construction sites. A high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass standard pre-employment screenings are typically expected. Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or other outdoor labor is helpful but not required.
