Fence Repair Technician

Position Description:Position Description: The Fence Repair Technician will manage the company's comprehensive fence and gate repair business.The Fence Repair Technician will work with the ACF accounting department to verify fence repair requests, and will prioritize repairs based on geography, project scope and urgency of the repair.The Fence Repair Technician will repair fences of certain size and scope for both residential and commercial customers, and will work with the Operations Manager to determine assignment of repair duties if the scope of a project is beyond the capabilities of one person.Reports To:President & Owner Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Work with the Accounting department to assess the scope of each fence repair request received to confirm that the proposed repair satisfies minimum dollar amount parameters and is located within our area of coverage. Repairs fences to the quality standards comparable to all other All City Fence products and services.When warranted, makes recommendations to customers on other suggested work to better maintain the integrity of the fence repair. Works with the Operations Manager to determine if specific jobs are large enough to require a multiple person crew; will transfer responsibility of repair to multiple person crew as determined by the Operations Manager if scope of repair is beyond capability of one person. Maintains organized records of weekly jobs completed and billing amounts.Submits accurate weekly reports to the President and Owner of the company before date/time deadline. Depending on the demand cycle for repairs, Fence Repair Technician will assist other crews (as determined by Operations Manager) for traditional installation projects if there are no active repairs that require immediate attention. Maintain a professional appearance when dealing with customers. Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle at all times.Maintain strict control of company-owned tools and other items necessary to perform job tasks. Qualifications: At least five years' experience as an installation foreman for a general commercial fence company is required.Experience in working with a wide variety of fence materials (wood, chain link, ornamental iron, etc.) is required.Excellent written and oral communication skills is required.Self-starter with a high degree of personal accountability and ability to multi-task is required.Must be able to work independently at a high level.May perform other duties as assigned.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$1,500.00 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Compensation Package: Bonus opportunities Schedule: 8 hour shift People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): Do you have experience with installation and repairs of fence and gates?
