Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Festival Director based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area with flexibility for some remote work. The Festival Director will oversee the planning, management, and execution of festivals, including developing event strategies, coordinating logistics, and supervising staff and contractors. Responsibilities include fundraising and sponsorship development, managing budgets, curating music programming, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery. The Festival Director will play a key role in delivering unique and impactful community-focused experiences. Qualifications Proven skills in Event Management and Event Planning, with a background in organizing large-scale events or festivals Experience in Fundraising and securing sponsorships to support event projects Knowledge and experience with Music programming and working with artists, performers, and entertainment professionals Expertise in Strategic Planning and the ability to develop comprehensive event strategies and execute them effectively Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders Familiarity with the live entertainment or cultural events industry is highly desirable Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Arts Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
