Intermediano Inc. is looking for Fiber & Coax Splicing Technicians on behalf of a client to support operations across multiple sites in Michigan (MI) & Indiana (IN). Candidates must be locally based or have valid authorization to work in the United States. Key Responsibilities Perform fiber optic and coaxial cable splicing within HFC networks Execute network upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting Perform node, cable, and equipment swaps (cutovers) Support network preparation activities based on technical drawings Read and interpret network diagrams, schematics, and plans Ensure quality, signal integrity, and compliance with safety standards Work on active networks with scheduled daytime cutovers Requirements Proven hands-on experience with HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) networks Strong experience with both fiber and coax splicing Experience with DOCSIS technology Experience performing network upgrades, swaps, and maintenance Ability to read and understand technical drawings and network layouts Field experience working in live telecom environments Clean background (Background check to be conducted) SSN and Valid work visa Pay: $1.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) networks: 1 year (Preferred) both fiber and coax splicing: 1 year (Preferred) OCSIS technology : 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
