Role Overview As a Field Construction Equipment Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery essential to our projects. This position demands a solid understanding of electrical, hydraulics and engines, with a chance to work independently and showcase your mechanical know-how. You’ll be hands-on, working outside in all kinds of weather, ensuring equipment stays reliable and ready to perform. Responsibilities Perform routine lubing and servicing of equipment. Repair skid steers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, aerial lifts, backhoes, scissor lifts, and other machinery. Operate reliably in outdoor conditions, adapting to whatever Mother Nature brings. Assist with medium-to-heavy-duty truck repairs when needed (experience in this is a plus). Drive company truck responsibly using your Class D license. Work independently while managing your time effectively to meet job demands. Requirements At least 5 years’ experience with construction equipment is preferred; candidates with less experience will be considered. Valid Class D license with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years, no excessive speeding tickets). Must be 21 or older Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English. Physically fit to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and able to bend and move freely on the job. Strong time management skills and reliability.
