Job Description
About the Project Our client is running a sidewalk mapping and pedestrian infrastructure data collection project in the Mandarin neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida. The goal of the project is to collect accurate 360° street-level imagery and sidewalk attribute data , which will later be processed and delivered as structured GeoJSON datasets linked with panoramic imagery . The collected data helps improve geospatial datasets, navigation systems, and urban infrastructure mapping . Responsibilities Walk assigned routes and perform pedestrian infrastructure data collection Capture continuous 360° imagery using mounted camera equipment Accurately enter required sidewalk attributes in the mobile application Identify and mark excluded private road intersections Ensure equipment is properly charged and operational each day Upload collected data according to defined procedures Submit two daily progress reports with data samples Troubleshoot technical or operational issues and report them to the project team Maintain high accuracy and consistency of collected geospatial data Position: Pedestrian 360° Imagery Data Collection Specialist Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA (on-site) Employment Type: Short-term project Start Date: Immediate The actual compensation model is performance-based and calculated from per-kilometer rate plus completion bonus , which may approximate $28/hour if data collection performance expectations are met. Work Schedule: Full-day work, 6 days per week Requirements Core Competencies
