Job Description
Location: Texas About The Opportunity Join a well-capitalized upstream operator focused on driving performance, reliability, and efficiency across its field operations. This is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground role where engineering meets operations—ideal for someone who thrives in the field and wants to directly influence uptime, cost reduction, and system performance. The Role As a Field Facilities Engineer, you will provide daily technical support and hands-on expertise across oil, gas, and water infrastructure. You’ll work closely with operations to troubleshoot issues, improve system reliability, and support new projects from design through commissioning. Key Responsibilities Support and optimize oil, gas, and water gathering and processing systems Troubleshoot equipment issues and improve reliability and uptime Lead facility upgrades, system improvements, and field projects Partner with operations to implement practical, field-ready solutions Conduct root cause analysis, risk assessments, and process safety reviews Support measurement systems, well testing, and production optimization Oversee chemical programs and H2S treatment processes Train and mentor field personnel on equipment and operations What You Bring Strong experience in upstream facilities engineering and field operations Deep knowledge of production systems, SWD, and gathering infrastructure Hands-on troubleshooting and equipment performance expertise Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field environment Strong communication and collaboration skills across field and office teams Why Apply Highly visible, field-based role with direct operational impact Work closely with experienced operations and engineering teams Opportunity to drive reliability, efficiency, and cost improvements Join a performance-focused organization investing in its assets and people
