Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: Field Sales Representative – Precision Grinding Solutions Location: U.S. (Location to be determined); primarily remote with monthly in-person team meetings. We’re looking for a Field Sales Representative who thrives on building relationships, opening new doors, and growing business. This role is focused on expanding our customer base and increasing our presence across U.S. manufacturing markets, working directly with customers to deliver high-impact precision grinding solutions. If you enjoy being out in the field, talking shop with engineers, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships, this is a great opportunity to step into a high-visibility, growth-focused role. What You’ll Do Identify, prospect, and develop new customer accounts across targeted manufacturing industries Build strong relationships with engineers, plant managers, and purchasing teams Promote and sell precision grinding equipment and solutions aligned to customer production needs Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend technical solutions that improve performance and outcomes Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and quoting through negotiation and closing Maintain a strong pipeline and provide accurate forecasting Travel extensively to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows across the U.S. Partner with engineering, applications, and internal teams to support successful project execution Participate in monthly in-person meetings for strategy, training, and collaboration What You Bring 5+ years of sales experience in machine tools, manufacturing equipment, or related industrial products Strong understanding of precision grinding, machining processes, and manufacturing environments Proven success developing new business and growing customer relationships Ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment Willingness to travel 50–70%+ across the United States Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Why MMT Competitive base salary plus commission/bonus opportunity Travel expense reimbursement Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan Opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies and a diverse customer base If you’re someone who enjoys building new relationships, growing business, and being part of a team that values innovation and results, we’d love to connect.
