Service Technician – Cold Brew & Coffee Equipment Systems (Part/Full-Time) Location: San Rafael, CA Territory: San Francisco Bay Area Employment Type: Part/Full-Time About Addictive Coffee Roasters Addictive Coffee Roasters is a San Rafael–based specialty coffee and beverage company delivering premium office coffee, nitro cold brew, tea, and hospitality-driven beverage programs throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We partner with offices, tech companies, hospitality groups, and retailers to create elevated workplace and customer experiences through high-quality products, reliable service, and modern beverage solutions including kegerators, espresso machines, batch brewers, and nitro systems. Role Overview The Service Technician will service, maintain, troubleshoot, and support kegerators, nitro cold brew systems, espresso machines, grinders, and coffee equipment at customer locations throughout the Bay Area. This is a customer-facing field role requiring strong mechanical aptitude, professionalism, and organization. In addition to maintaining equipment and supporting installations, this role will help strengthen customer relationships and identify opportunities for account growth, equipment upgrades, and expanded beverage programs within existing clients. Key Responsibilities Visit customer locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to service and maintain nitro cold brew systems, kegerators, espresso machines, coffee brewers, and related beverage equipment Troubleshoot dispensing, pressure, nitrogen, cooling, plumbing, grinder, and brewing issues Perform preventative maintenance and system calibration Install and replace beverage lines, faucets, couplers, regulators, filters, grinders, and related components Support setup and maintenance of office coffee and nitro beverage programs Maintain proper temperature and nitrogen pressure settings for optimal product quality Coordinate repairs and communicate service updates with internal operations teams Ensure customer locations remain clean, organized, and operating properly Build strong relationships with office managers, workplace teams, facilities contacts, and hospitality clients Identify opportunities for additional products, equipment upgrades, service improvements, or expanded beverage offerings within existing accounts Assist with equipment installations, office setups, activations, and product demos as needed Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of experience in field service, beverage systems, coffee equipment repair, refrigeration, facilities support, or related technical roles preferred Experience servicing espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, kegerators, draft beverage systems, nitrogen systems, or cold brew systems strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues independently Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable working in office environments and client-facing settings Organized, reliable, and self-motivated Ability to lift and transport kegs, gas cylinders, coffee equipment, and supplies Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required Experience working throughout the San Francisco Bay Area preferred Work Environment Field-based role servicing clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area Based out of San Rafael headquarters Combination of independent field work and team collaboration Fast-paced startup environment with growth opportunities Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Mileage reimbursement 72.5¢/mile Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding specialty coffee/beverage company Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
