Job Description
The field service technician will focus on improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and leads the troubleshooting of the painting and striping equipment. A hands-on problem solver who thrives on interacting with foreman, operators, and presidents (at multiple locations in various states) and ensuring their success. You don’t just install equipment — you bring it to life through teaching and training. If you love working with your hands, troubleshooting electrical systems, and helping customers succeed — this role is for you. Position reports directly to the Director of Operations for Gulf Management. This position can be based out of the Memphis, TN or Little Rock, AR area. Responsibilities: Perform new product installations at locations in three states (Louisiana, Arkansas, and Tennessee). Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and mechanical product issues both on-site and remotely. Provide hands-on training on Skip-Line systems, ensuring all employees know how to operate them effectively. Regularly work with low-voltage DC electrical systems during installation and support. Deliver fanatical customer service — ensuring every crew feels supported and confident. Develop expertise in pavement marking controls and educate employees on the features and benefits of Skip-Line products. Suggest and implement process improvements to increase installation efficiency and customer satisfaction. Improve operational systems, processes, and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being. Monitor data logging reports to ensure DOTD specifications are being followed.
