Introduction: We are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Field Services team. You will be responsible for offering practical field repairs, welding, and technical support for Metso customers and third-party contractors in existing and newly acquired retrofit/rebuild/replacement equipment. Project the image of Metso as the service-oriented company to depend on for qualified field service support on mining equipment for maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and operation. The Field Service Technician position requires significant experience as a Field Service Technician with a background in mechanical and maintenance work as well as in depth knowledge of mining equipment. In this position, you will report to the Field Service Managers in Salt Lake City, UT. This position is located in Salt Lake City, UT but, will require up to 85% of travel to customer sites and other internal Metso sites for training.
